Contact the LRCC office well in advance of when you need to start your project. We do make credit inquiries on all applicants and your past credit history will be considered in the adjudication process.

Yes, I am a candidate for support, what are the next steps?

Applications to be completed are as follows:

• Grant & Loan Application
• Personal Statement of Affairs
• Detailed Business Plan
• Refundable loan application fee (The application fee will only be refunded upon draw down of approved loan or LRCC decline of loan request)
  • $100 for loan requests of $50,000 or less
  • $250 for loan requests over $50,000
• Written proof or written confirmation of your Metis heritage
• Written proof of your minimum required 10% equity position
• Copies of your most recent two (2) years of person Income Tax Returns or copies of your Notice of Assessment issued by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
